The ministry of Kids Rock is to help families pass on faith to their kids so that Kids Rock for Jesus. We do this by:
1. Partnering with parents to help them in the process of raising children.
2. Creating a exciting learning place for children at church so kids can develop in their relationship with Jesus.
3. Having family fun times where parents and their kids can enjoy each other and build friendships with other families.
As parents, our greatest calling is to pass on our faith to our children. God explained this to Moses in Deuteronomy (chapters 4, 6, 11). Paul told the Ephesians (chapter 6) to bring their children up “in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
Jesus placed significant importance on leading children to Him when He said (in Mark chapter 10), “Let the children come to Me and do not forbid them.” We have an important task to bring up our children to follow Jesus.
Psalm 8 tells us “From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise…” Children are meant to ROCK for JESUS. Our goal is to see parents and children together ROCKin’ for Jesus. We help you and your children walk in Jesus’ footsteps.
In each kid-friendly service children encounter God in ways children can understand. In Kids Rock Live (grades 1—5), children experience God through worship, praise, giving, games, and a message which challenges kids to live up to all that God has for them. In Kids Rock Jr., preschool (age 3) through kindergarten, kids learn about Jesus in a fun-filled setting using Bible stories, learning centers, music, and games. Li'l Rockers, which is our Nursery (3-12 mos), Toddler 1 (age 1), and Toddler 2 (age 2) is where our littlest ones learn the love of Jesus through age-appropriate songs, stories, activities, and through the loving care of our caring volunteers.
Our kids services are:
